Meet the Team at Thrive Through Therapy

Shonese Sallie

My name is Shonese Sallie, a Registered Behavioural Therapist and qualified Early Childhood Development teacher (NQF Level 6, registered with SACE). I have three years of teaching experience and have been working as an ABA instructor for over a year, supporting children across a variety of cases and developmental needs. I also hold a certification in ABA Therapy (RBT course) and have attended the Neurodiversity Conference, which deepened my understanding of each child’s unique strengths.

I am a patient, empathetic, and creative therapist who loves connecting with children and finding fun, meaningful ways to support their learning. My journey into ABA was inspired by my passion for making a meaningful difference, celebrating milestones, and learning from children every day.

Joining Thrive Through Therapy has been transformative. The guidance and mentorship I have received here have equipped me to grow as an ABA therapist. Witnessing the incredible progress of the children I work with fuels my dedication, positivity, and unwavering commitment to their development and overall well-being.

Kudzai Kenesi

Hi, I’m Kudzai Kenesi, a Junior Behavioural Therapist with 7 years of experience in ABA. I completed my RBT qualification in 2019 and have worked with children across a variety of cases and age groups, tailoring my approach to each child’s unique needs.

I love change and connecting deeply with the children I work with, celebrating every bit of progress—even on days or weeks that feel stagnant. I take time to understand each child’s difficulties and challenges, finding ways to encourage and support their growth. As a mother of two, I bring empathy, patience, and creativity to my work, creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, confident, and empowered.
